If you can't join the orchestra, the orchestra will come to you! Since our Easter project 2020 unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the effects of Covid-19, the members of the National Youth Orchestra of Germany have recorded excerpts of Ludwig van Beethoven's 3rd Symphony at home. Afterwards, Jakob Plag, clarinetist in the orchestra, has edited the individual recordings. The "Eroica" would have been on the program for the easter tour together with Brett Dean's "Testament - Music for orchestra" (2008) and the commissioned composition "the weight of ash" by Mark Barden. Thanks to our wonderful musicians for their commitment! - A great recording!
